Re: [READ FIRST] Cheat console doesn't open

Hi all,
I’ve recently opened back up The Sims after a while of playing, making sure it’s updated too. And for some reason I cannot open the cheat window (which would normally be able to be accessed with the code of “Ctrl. SHIFT. C.”. However, it’s not working.

I know for a fact my keys (on my keyboard) aren't the problem. Just wondering if it would be a recent patch issue?

I’d really appreciate the help.

Thanks, and hope someone can help me soon- before I start going insane. Hahaha!

Ctrl-Shift-C is a key combination, not a code. Make sure you're pressing all 3 keys at the same time, not one after another. It's definitely not a patch issue. Hope this helps.

This is caused by a program running in the background. Usually a screen capture program. See if you can change the key combination that program uses or stop it before launching the SIMS 4.

I have tried to press them all at the same time- thank you though, as I initially thought that was the problem.
