Try force closing The Sims 4.
Ctrl+alt+delete go to the processes tab and force close TS4.exe.
To be sure, right click the game in Origin and choose 'repair game'.
After that try starting the game again. 

(I doubt that you already have custom content (CC), but is you have take that out)
