Re: [Resolved] Game ownership disabled or deleted

report id 655e7639-7793-4665-9efd-c29fb763dc36

i am having the same issue for sims 3. i have owned sims 3 and the dlc for 10+ years. i contacted ea and they couldn't help me, only said they would "investigate further" which honestly is not very promising. i want to access the games that i paid so much money for. just because its an older game does not mean people shouldn't be looking into this issue. maybe it's an issue with the EA app. i wish we weren't all forced to convert to the EA app for this very reason.

Solution provided by Homik1231 on the Polish forum:
"Try to install the sims via epic games, the installation moves normally to the ea app, I had the same problem, but installing via epic helped me."
    It worked for me 🙂

  • Do you know if we have to purchase everything all over again if we download via Epics, or is there a way to connect EA accounts to prove we've owned them previously and are simply downloading them from elsewhere?

I don't see that Epic supports Sims 3, only Sims 4.. so we couldn't link it through there anyway. I also signed up for EA play to see if that was the issue (it never was before) but same problem still persists, can't launch Sims 3 at all
