Re: sim 4 gshade load problem

@alessiaey  Right-click the task bar, at the bottom of the screen, to open the Task Manager.  Or click ctrl-alt-delete.

@alessiaey  To be clear, you were able to delete the Bin folder, and repair Sims 4, and the game still doesn't work?  If not, let me know.

Otherwise, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

@alessiaey  Yes, it sounds like the game is fine now, or at least that the GShade problem is gone.  If you'd like, feel free to copy over your saves and Tray files from the old Sims 4 folder.  You may want to keep UserSettings.ini, which stores the login rewards data, and possibly Screenshots and Recorded Videos as well.  The rest can be discarded.
