@ditsy_kitten It sounds like you're signing into a different account than the one where you purchased your content. You can check this account's purchase history on ea.com to be sure: sign in and open Account Settings > Order History.
The fix here is to login to the correct account. If you're not sure which one that is, enter any email address you have access to into the login window and click "Forgot your password?" An address attached to an EA account should receive a password-recovery email. Check the spam folder as well as the inbox.

Make sure you're signed into an EA site (this one is fine) before clicking the link and that the location in the lower-right corner is set to U.S. or U.K. You should see a live chat option, which is going to be more effective than exchanging emails.
