@HoneyBee154  Restart your computer, not in a clean boot and with the audio software running, with your headphones disconnected.  Try playing using only the built-in speakers and let me know whether it works.  If it does, quit the game, plug in your headphones, and test again.

    @puzzlezaddict It works! And this might be kind of obvious but I found that the sound glitches less when I keep my computer cool and don't let it overheat. Thank you so much for your help!

    @HoneyBee154 Also try playing in Fullscreen mode. I had the same issue when playing in Fullscreen windowed mode, but found the issue vanished completely when playing in Fullscreen.
