@Sims3Geeeek That's fine, just sfc reporting that it did its job. Please let me know how the rest of the testing goes.

It seems to have worked! I changed it to HDMI and everything has been smooth sailing for a few days. I tried to revert back to DPC using the same way I had before because I was curious and it won't display on my monitor anymore. Not sure if it's a me problem or a cord issue but nonetheless thank you for the help!
I did have another issue tho and wondered if you could help. It's related to the Sims 3 so I'm not sure if I should make a separate thread or see if you can help.
@Sims3Geeeek I'm glad to hear the new cable helped. It's pretty common to get a bad cable, and less so but still possible to have a broken port on either end. At this point, the exact diagnosis matters much less than the fact that you have a fix.
