@CMeki, I'm sorry it has taken me so long to reply! I'm honestly not completely sure how to change the graphics settings or any of that, but yesterday after my last comment I opened the game just to see if it would work, and it did! So maybe updating those drivers was the trick?!! I can't thank you enough! I was getting so frustrated spending hours trying to figure out how to make it work. I will reply here if I have any more issues! Thanks again!

I have the same problem as you! The game just restarts. But I have not had problem with it before, it started 2 weeks ago from nowhere. And I have owned and played the games for 5 years. I tried everything: Reinstalling the game twice, repairing, reinstalled my whole pc, searched for virus, open origin in different ways, reinstalling drivers, installing other drivers, also I talked to EA chat, they sent me a list of things to do too fix it including reeboot the pc. I did, and it did not work. ALL of my other pcgames works just fine! Games like LoL and Battlefield. I have no problems and they do not restart my pc, just The Sims 4. I'm honestly pissed. If you got soloution please tell me!

Okay, nevermind what I said. I played a few days now without any problem, until today. My pc restarted itself again…

@VanDusensGirl  In that case, I think it's definitely worth some testing to try to pinpoint the issue.  The first suspect is still the PSU.  Can you borrow one from a friend to test?  The 1070 ti would need at least a 500W power supply, and the Titan 650W, to make sure the system gets enough power overall.  It would be best to try both cards, if you can manage it.

If that's not possible, or if you'd rather be more thorough, thre's a simple way to monitor your hardware.  Download hwinfo from here:

    https://www.hwinfo.com/download/

You don't even need to install it if you don't want to—download the portable version, unzip it, and launch it directly from Downloads.  (If you do want to install, be sure to click the green button, not the orange one.)  Open the app, choose "sensors only," then click the icon that's a sheet of paper with a + sign to start logging.  Take note of where the log will land, so you can find it later.  Wait five minutes, then launch Origin and TS4, and play for 20 minutes, or until your computer restarts.

You can upload the log file to a third-party hosting site and link it here, or you can change it to a .txt file (just file.txt, not file.csv.txt) and attach it to a post here.
