Just looked and yes it was still in there. (can't believe I didn't see it before...🤨 silly me!) Removed it and the game seems to be working so far. Thank you for all of your help! ❤️ Maybe it was conflicting with something! anyway, thank you for your help and time

Check if there's an updated version you could use.
QUICK UPDATE: It seemed that the 1,000+ tray items in my "Sims 4" folder were causing lag as well! I removed my "Sims 4" folder and in turn when I started the game up it automatically created a new, empty one. Everything reset, including graphics, which now has enabled me to play well! No lagging, FINALLY!
I am now enjoying Sims 4 City Living without the worry of the game crashing.
(just to note this did mean I lost all of my saves - which I could have copied and pasted back into the new folder - but I didn't mind this as I did not play on any of them anymore)👍

Yeah, that's a bit much
Just upload the Sims you want to keep to the gallery or save the tray folder to a different location on your hard drive, then delete everything you don't want through the library.

Hi, im having the same issue, not so much crashing but my game is lagging very badly just wondering how to fix it?
