if you want to change compability mode you can check here: https://help.ea.com/sv-se/help/pc/how-do-i-check-windows-recommended-compatibility/
This is normally not the solution to "sims 4 CAS freezing" though, as Sims 4 should be fully compatible with windows 10.
If you have the same problems:
- Are you using any mods or cc in your game? Try to remove them and see if the game works better.
For example, move the mods folder from C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to your Desktop and start the game. Open your Origin client and go to My Game Library, right-click The Sims 4 and choose Repair.
- There might me issues with you PC, please post a DxDiag so we can check:
