@Mothcat182  Are you losing any other files, for example saves?  I ask because there are two common and completely separate problems that sound similar to what you're seeing, although I can't tell for sure from your description.  Those problems are antivirus and OneDrive, and each has its own master thread:

Mods being corrupted but still present makes me think antivirus, but if the mods are getting renamed, that would likely be due to OneDrive.  The event rewards data is stored in UserSettings.ini, which could be deleted (OneDrive), or the game could be blocked from making changes (antivirus).  The same goes for Options.ini, which stores in-game options.

You should be able to repair Sims 4 rather than reinstalling it.

    @puzzlezaddict I haven't lost a file, I just restart my saves when my mods/cc get lost and I have to reinstall them (I install them from curse forge), the only Mod problem I'm having At the moment is MCC command isn't appearing and script files aren't reading in game

    My main problem is the settings in the game, every time I launch the game they go back to factory settings so to say.. like I have to turn off tutorials every time turn the audio down  etc.

    I now also have been claiming the dart board every time I've loaded the game , so I'm not getting any other log in reward..

    @Mothcat182  If the files are still there but the game can't read them, are they getting renamed?  This goes for both the mods that stop working and for your Options.ini and UserSettings.ini files.  Please check and let me know.  You can post screenshots if you like.

    As a test, please also edit Options.ini to set fullscreen to either 1 or 0, whichever you're not currently using.  Let me know whether the game respects this setting, i.e. it switches from fullscreen to windowed mode or vice versa, and whether this change persists after you restart your computer and reload the game.
