Re: Sims 4 keeps crashing at random

@ItsJustWeav3r  The game crashes and BlueScreens may be completely different, or they may be related.  Since the BSODs are hardware-related, let's start there.  This type of error can be caused by a physical hardware defect or by excess heat, so the first thing to do is to open your computer, turn it on, and make sure all the fans spin.  This could be as simple as a broken CPU or GPU cooler.

If you don't see anything obvious, the next step is hardware monitoring.  Download hwinfo (it's free) from here:

https://www.hwinfo.com/download/

You don't have to install anything; just download the portable version, unzip it, and you can run it from Downloads or wherever you want.  If you do want to install, make sure to click the button for hwinfo itself, not for lansweeper.

Restart your computer, open hwinfo, and click the menu button to start logging.  Wait five minutes, then launch Sims 4 and play for at least 20 minutes or until it crashes.  If your entire computer restarts, the log should still be intact up until that point; otherwise, you can click the same button to stop logging.  Upload the log to a free filesharing site (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.), and please leave it in .csv format, or if you use OneDrive to share it, zip it first.
