Re: Sims 4, mods appearing in game even though there's none in the mods folder

@McKopec_03  It sounds like the game is reading a different Sims 4 user folder than the one where you've been adding and removing mods.  Here's how to find that folder:

You just need to work with the folder the game uses, not the other one.  As a bonus, the other folder might have your old saves in it, so check the saves subfolder as well.

If you're not sure what you're looking at, feel free to post screenshots.  Include the address bar, above the ilst of files and folders, as well.
