Re: Sims 4 now crashing after downloading expansion packs

@caseybrooke98  Your laptop meets minimum recommendations for Sims 4, but its hardware is quite weak for the expansions you've recently installed.  All three are quite demanding compared to the base game, and their cumulative effect may be more than your laptop can handle.  Between the weak graphics chip and the 4 GB RAM, there might not be any way you can run these packs together, even on the lowest settings.

If you want to try, the first thing to do is to update your graphics driver.  Samsung doesn't offer a current one, but Intel does.

Before you play, restart your computer, and don't open any other apps besides Origin.  Keep everything on the lowest settings, and see whether you can play.  If not, you can try disabling one pack at a time, to see whether it helps to play with fewer.

Thank you very much. Just finished installing graphics update. I’ve cleared cache files and I’ve just re-installed the whole game too. Hopefully it will work if not I won’t use all the packs at the same time.

    you’ve been so helpful 😁
