Re: Sims 4: sims 3 camera not fully working

@Mathildek21  Please test with a different mouse if at all possible.  If you don't have access to another one at home, maybe you can borrow one from a friend for a day.

Please also let me know whether the Sims 4 camera works normally.  Even if you'd rather not use it, it's still helpful to know.

I have borrowed one from a friend and middle click rotate/tilt is working! The sims 4 camera works fine as well.

I don't know if i should just buy a new mouse or not..mine is fairly new and I know the middle button click works prefectly in other apps or youtube to play and pause a video. I think it might have to do with some mouse settings and the game of some sort.

@Mathildek21  If your mouse comes with control software, for example Razer and Logitech both have optional apps, please try uninstalling that software.  If that works, you can reinstall the software and play around with the settings.

If it doesn't help, try playing in a clean boot, which is the fastest way to figure out if some other software is interfering.

The one service to leave enabled is the EABackgroundService, which the EA App needs to use.  Disable the rest as described.

When you reboot your computer, go through the Task Manager's background processes list shutting down everything that doesn't absolutely need to be running, for example anything from MSI Afterburner to RGB software might still be active.  If you accidentally kill the wrong process and it doesn't restart one its own, just reboot your computer again.  Disable the EA App in-game overlay as well (under Settings > Application), and the Steam in-game overlay if you play through Steam.  Don't open any other apps other than Sims 4 and the game launcher(s).

If this helps, you can selectively reenable services, for example using the 50/50 method, to figure out which one is the problem.
