@villa467 When you try to launch Sims 4 through the EA App, do you get the message about Origin as well? And to be clear, you don't need Origin, and having played on a Mac prior to this doesn't have any effect on your ability to run Sims 4 in Windows now.
Separately, please try pausing OneDrive syncing, which you can do by right-clicking the cloud icon in the lower-right corner of the screen. Let me know whether Sims 4 launches properly then.
