No..this is the largest i have ever seen any of my houses ..just built another ..and it is only 5 MG..so i really do not know why this one is so much..baffling

Are you using any custom content or mods in your game ? They shouldn't really save with the file but maybe they are bloating something ?

It looks like there is a limit and you're over that. 

Maybe try deleting some stuff to make it smaller (on the lot) ?

I am sorry it is MB ..not MG..and the largest house ..My Grand Estate was only 5 MB..i deleted the house on my lot ..although it is in my library and i don't want to try and place it in case it does something to my game ..but the exact thing it said was.."The file size of this item is too large",,,

Can you zip up the files to that house from your library and upload to mediafire so I can try this in my game ?

I'm going to try to upload and if it work, immediately delete it.

Save the house to your library

Then you should find a few new files in this folder: documents\electronicarts\thesims4\tray (with the newest date),

Zip those and drop to this link: Mediafire-Link to upload. I will get a message when you've uploaded. Best is if you name the zip file with your user name.

Hi..I really appreciate everything you are doing to help me and it is appreciated ..but i really have no idea what to do . What a Zip Folder is ..let alone giving it a name . I usually have someone walk me through step by step on the phone ..but when i called they told me to go to the forums, Now i just got another message when i took one of my rooms from my library that has my pictures in it because i wanted to use some for another house i am building...and my rooms with my pictures are not uploaded to the Gallery because they are collected over time from various sim's and i do not share these rooms to gallery . This message reads " Unique Object Limit Reached ..Lots with more than 225 unique objects ( paintings, photographs, etc, can not be shared to the gallery. Remove some of these items to enable sharing" }. Now i wasn't sharing to the Gallery ..just placing one of my rooms from my Library so i can use items in the house i am building and decorating. Unless there is a way i can get a more detailed description on" how to"...i am lost . Computers are really something i know very little about. 

Sounds like an issue with your gallery but I'll try how it works for me.

Thanks so much Crin ..you have been more than patient and i appreciate your help..you have been the only one to respond. I love this game so much especially the decorating and building and love to share my work with others.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     if i may i have another Q:  I get a lot of other Simmers saying they can not respond/remark to my houses and such because i do not have " everyone " clicked off ..i have friends...because i do not know how safe it is to click everyone.

We usually try to stick to one helper per thread because multiple helpers can confuse things :D

You can right-click on the pictures in the thread and choose: Open picture in new tab (or something along these line, mines in German) to see a bigger picture.

In your case, please zip the TRAY folder instead of the SAVES one. It's the same procedure but you need to right click on the tray folder, not saves.

Let me know if you have any troubles. Maybe you have someone in your household that could even help you out.

I am sorry ..i clicked that link that is highlighted in blue and i can't make any sense out of it. I am going to need help on this by having someone  {.My Technician}  come over and do it.. and that is costly..or someone walk me through it. This is way to complicating..When it comes to computers i am totally lost. So sorry ..i feel like i am just wasting your time. 

Don't spend money on this. That's not worth it.

I can find out if there's a limit after the holidays. Currently everyone is on holiday break.

So let's just wait until they are back.

OK..That sounds like a good idea. I am not sure what is going on now ..but i cant get anything to load in Gallery.,

Are you still having issues to upload things to the Gallery or were you able to fix them?
