could you try moving the family to a different lot or try a different family for testing purposes ?
How high is their relationship ?

- I feel stupid. I went back and looked at everything closely again and it was definitely a user error. When I made the family I never made the adults married so they are only listed as roommates. And since its a new gane they haven't built their relationship yet.
So it was my bad. Oops. Tha nd for the suggestions! Glad to hear that helped.
