Re: The Sims 4 (Steam) tries to launch but servers time out

@StarCutie_12  Thanks for the dxdiag, which doesn't show any Sims 4 or EA App errors but does list a number of crashes of LED Keeper.  So I'd disable or uninstall the app for now, and maybe reinstall it later when Sims 4 and everything else is running properly.

For the Sims 4 issue, is it correct that your Steam account was linked to the EA account tied to a stolen email?  Are you now using a different EA account, or just a different email, and if it's a different EA account, did you manage to unlink your Steam account from the old EA account and link it to this new account?  These details matter here.

Please also let me know whether it helps to run both Steam and the EA App as an admin: right-click each desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator."  Make sure both apps have loaded fullly—you can see your game libraries and all the usual buttons—before trying to launch Sims 4 through Steam.

I eventually figured out the issue! I got onto steam support and told them the whole situation and they unlinked my old EA account! But my issue didn’t end there, sadly. I had a few corrupted cc and had to go through around 160 mods to find the culprits😭 Once I found them the game ran perfectly! Thank you for your response, it was your comments on other threads that helped me the most🫶
