Re: Unable to Launch Game, and need to uninstall Legacy Edition
@verybigproblemm The only supported way to remove the Legacy Edition is to uninstall the entire game and reinstall without the LE. Or you could delete the LE folder; worst case, you'd probably need to repair the game afterwards. Or you could ignore the presence of the LE files, which take up about 6 GB, and tell Origin to launch the standard version: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Game Properties > Advanced Launch Options, and select 64-bit from the dropdown menu.
If you don't see the option to switch to 64-bit, or if you choose it but the game won't launch, it's possible that your antivirus has blocked TS4_x64.exe. In that case, a game repair may put it back (open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Repair). But if not, please let me know what antivirus you're using.
