Re: Wedding guest list issues

@crinrict I do have mods that are out of date because of the recent updates but I’m not sure if or when they’ll be updated. They do travel with me when my sim goes some where though. And some of them I’m able to play with too.

@crinrict No I haven’t removed them. I’m new to mods so I don’t really know the basics of maintaining them. I also don’t really know about the updates for the mods, like do they update on their own?

@Kdlax10 With every patch you need to check if the mods you are using are still compatible or not. There's lists maintained by community members that can help you but at the end of the day it's you that need to check if they are (by going back to the site you downloaded them from and see what the creator says).

They do not auto-update. You need to go to the site and download the new version and put that in the game. Remove everything that is known to be outdated and hasnt' been updated.

@crinrict Okay thank you! Also I have another question, my friend says that the Culinary Career in her game is missing. I’m not sure if anyone else is having this problem? She doesn’t have any mods or anything and she plays it on Xbox One. The career was there before and she currently has one of her characters as a chef.

@Kdlax10 Haven't seen any reports on that. Can't really help with console issues though. Might be better to post this in the console forum.

@crinrict So I’ve updated my mods and I’m still having the same issue but in a different game I’m not having that issue.

@Kdlax10 Did you try inviting a different set of friends to see if those show ? Maybe make some new ones ?

@crinrict I did make some new friends but I found something interesting, if I try and do a wedding only my household shows up in the guest picker thing, but if I do any other kind of party EVERYONE shows up when I have to pick guests.

@Kdlax10 Really don't know what's going on in your save. Maybe a mod corrupted something on the save.

@Kdlax10 I checked your save. it looks like your Sim kinda no longer is introduced to the folks they are friends with. If you invite them over, you can introduce yourself to them. There's a few that are fine, you can invite those. Everyone else you need to get to your lot, then introduce yourself again to them and then they should appear on the list.

The wedding social probably checks for that while all others don't.

You also need to be friends I think. Acquaintance didn't appear although they didn't need introducing.

@crinrict No, none of my sims have anything to prevent that.

@Kdlax10 OK. So it's not that causing the weird you have to reintroduce ourself issue.

@crinrict So the wedding issue is fixed. Thank you! I do have another question though that I’d like to ask, have you had an issue where a sim turns into a mermaid but when you undo the mermaid transformation and you make your sim no longer a mermaid they still act like one?
