spritelst It is absolutely a tech issue, not a bug, or a) it would happen to more people; and b) those people would all need to wait for a patch, as opposed to mostly being able to fix it with the tips in this thread, which you can see is the case from the replies here.
Removing mods is only occasionally the fix, and starting a new save almost never helps. The most common cause is conflicting software, sometimes an app that also uses ctrl-shift-C, sometimes an overlay that interferes with the game in other ways.
Also, I don't work for EA, so it's not my bug.
So they’re not paying you to talk down to people you just do that for fun...? I don’t care about the others in the thread, like you said most of them have commands that conflict, but when i’m explicitly saying something stopped working after a patch and then worked after the new one... maybe just say okay instead of going off about operator error and other things that aren’t at all relevant. I’m also NOT the only one who experienced this specific issue, if you’ve noticed majority of sims players don’t keep up with these forums, but if you search the problem people on twitter, tiktok, reddit etc lots of users experienced the exact same issue during that time frame.
