How did you find out whether or not they added yours?

My GPU is brand new and isn't recognised by the Sims 4. It's about time they updated the list!
Even when I have followed instructions and manually added my GPU to the list, sometimes the Sims 4 still randomly refuses to start and still gives the same error.
My graphics card is "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU" as described by the game.
It's weird that it clearly knows there's a perfectly good GPU right there and the game still refuses to boot. I can't think of any other game that works like this. If the Sims 4 has no preset for the GPU, why not just let the user choose their own graphical options?
