I'm replying here, as I need help with one of my issues and I'm still considered a new member.
I've been trying to redownload The Sims 4 to my PC after having some problems with the game closing last night. As of right now, I'm on my second round of uninstalling and reinstalling, as the game took over 24 hours to download and I was advised to restart. Previously, my game was stored in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. However, with advisement, I was told to delete that folder. So now I have a folder in Program Files > EA Games > The Sims 4, but this time it has different folders than the last time "_Installer", "Support", etc. It's still taking hours to download, and I haven't even downloaded the base game as of right now. Could anyone help me? I'm really frustrated.
Did you try deleting unwanted files on your computer? This includes duplicate photos, game cache, etc.

Yep. Everything from the sims 4 is gone, and it’s still taking forever to download.

Ok, Maybe you should reset your computer and start over? What does your computer screen look like? Hey, I’m as smart as @EA_Solaire , @EA_Cade , and @ReneHollyDesign1 . They were able to help me with my issue, So I should be able to help you with yours.
