I am relocating my game to an external drive. I already am moving the Program FIles, but how do I change which folder is checked for saves, Tray and Mods? I have a "Game Files > The Sims 4" Folder I would like to move it to on the new drive, rather than the "Documents > The Sims 4" Folder on the main drive. Idk how to do it tho

bumping this because i still do not understand how to do it :/ I am trying to install it on my other laptop for now but that is a hassle bc A) its slow af and B) changing my whole setup back and forth for 1 game isnt worth it

@Lunar_S0uls The article is pretty self-explanatory, but okay, we can start from the beginning. First, please start Sims 4, then find the full file path to your user folder, as explained here:

Please list that file path here, the entire thing, or post a screenshot.
Please also list the location where you want your user data—saves, mods, etc.—to be located on the external drive. Is it this:
D:\Game Files\Electronic Arts
as in your screenshot, or something else? And do you want to move the Sims 4 folder, or the Electronic Arts folder? Either one is fine, and they're equally simple to do, so just pick whatever you want.
@Lunar_S0uls Please uninstall Sims 4 and the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine). Use this guide if you need help:
Make sure you rename any folders called "The Sims 4" that contain any saves or other user data you want to keep. And go over the list Revo provides you to make sure you didn't miss any.
When reinstalling Sims 4, create a new folder on your external drive, for example D:\Games, and choose that as the install location.
If that doesn't help, please let me know how the drive is formatted.
when launching that program neither TS4 or EA app are listed anywhere
