remove dead Sims from list of acquaintances?

My Sim has a lot of friends and acquaintances in her data, but a lot of them are dead, and their ghosts are nowhere to be found.  I find this annoying, to have these ghost pictures and names cluttering up her list of Sims she knows, for no reason.  Is there a way to clear them out?

    @UntotheLord I too am having this issue. I do not use mods or any custom content. My sim currently has at least 15 ghosts in the relationship panel. All with a status of "Acquaintances". As each one died, my sim received a Mourning buff (From Losing a Friend), even though they were not "friends". (Resulting in my sim being sad constantly.) Then I receive multiple notifications as each ghost "fades away". Very annoying and definitely a bug.
