Forum Discussion
I meant with the actual files on my computer, not on my firewall software. On my Program files x86, it has an Origin files and an Origin games separate files. On your website discussing this matter, it said that you wanted us to combine all files into one, I was asking if you wanted me to combine the Origin file and the Origin games file. I'm assuming they need to be separate, but I wanted to make sure.
While uninstalling my origin files, I noted that Snowy Escape and Paranormal Stuff are separate from those Origin files and I'd have to delete them separately. I believe this is what you are implying about adding them into my games file. However, I've tried locating where they are placed and my computer search is not able to locate them so I can place them into my Origin games file. How can I do this? And if this is something that is caused by Origin's site, how do I let them know about this so others don't have to go through what I'm dealing with?
thanks again.
So if you have like a c and a d drive, make sure Origin and the game files are both on either the d drive or the c drive and not Origin on c and the game files on d.
It shouldn't really matter that much, it's been a problem in the past but I don't have them on the same drive anymore and don't have any issues.
So yes, they game files and Origin files should be in different folders but if possible on the same drive.
SE and PSP showing up in uninstall is something that happens to everybody. It's not a problem. Uninstalling the main game will also uninstall those two.
The packs are usually installed as subfolders in the Sims 4 installation folder and are numbered folders (SE = EP10, Paranormal = SP18). You can find an overview of all numbers here: https://sims4.crinrict.com/extras/erhaeltliche-erweiterungen-dlc/
Could you maybe post a screenshot of your current Sims 4 installation folder ?
