Restore a deleted Saved Games File

PLEASE HELP!!! I wanted to move someone into the household. but its said I couldn't while there was a scenario playing (didn't know it was playing a scenario). it said I had to complete the scenario or cancel it. so I clicked delete. thinking it would delete the scenario. but it deleted EVERYTHING 4 generations of families. I had no idea how to cancel the scenario. I didn't realise deleting 1 family from saved games would delete every family I had made since then. im so upset ☹️ 
- is there a way to restore a deleted game file. someone said I could go into a recycle bin somewhere??

    @Icy_Penguin69If you deleted the save.. no. If you manually removed it, and put it in the recycle bin on desktop just put it back
    THERE IS HOPE!!
    If you have any save in that game ( where you had that family ) doesn't matter what sim, if part of the same game that family appeared in, they will be part of it. But, depending on how old that save is, well, they may be a lot younger and a lot farther back.

    Deletion via the 'delete save' button in menu does not move the file to the recycle bin. ☹️

    (Not to be one of those, but my experience has taught to every so often, make a manual save as to work like a back up in case of issues. Then I can revert anything back to at least somewhere )
