restoring save files when data has been lost

hi all, i know this is a long shot and there's a big chance it is not possible, but i am wondering if there's a way to get saved games back when you cant access your laptop files.

my laptop spontaneously stopped working, and they weren't able to retrieve any of my files or data. this means i lost everything i had on there including my saved sims games. i ahve a new laptop now, and i am just wondering if there's any possible way to get those saves back?

    @shabadoble  Unfortunately no, there is probably no way to recover your data.  You could look in OneDrive, including on onedrive.com (both in My Files and the Recycle Bin), if your old laptop was ever linked to a Microsoft account.  OneDrive can automatically sync your data, and any files there should still be usable.  But if that doesn't pan out, there's nowhere else to look.

    this actually worked! i lost my main legacy challenge save file somehow which is a bummer, but apart from that, i got everything back! thank you soso much for the suggestion. i can't believe i didn't think of it lol!!
