There's a routing error when Sims try to use computers. If there is anything on the computer at all, it won't let them automatically route to it. The interaction will just disappear. You have to have the Sim sit and then select the computer for the interaction to go through.

The problem is that computers aren't slotting correctly. If you put a computer on a desk, it doesn't remove that as an available slot. So, you can still place things on the desk, without bb.moveobjects on, that interfere with the computer slot. Your Sims can also place coffee mugs, plates, etc. in the computer slot, as if the computer wasn't there. It will literally stick out from the center of the computer. If you're having routing issues on an empty desk, you have to go into Build mode to move the computer and see what your Sim has placed inside of that slot. This means that, if you put ANYTHING AT ALL on a desk, your Sims can't use the computer any more. At least not without having them sit first and then use the computer. 

I'm posting again because it keeps getting marked as resolved and no one seems to have put two and two together to see that it's a routing error because computers don't properly take up a slot. It's not a bug. It's not a MOD problem. It's not an intentional design feature. Computers aren't programmed to slot correctly and it's causing routing issues. Please, fix this. I'd love to be able to put a lamp or a stack of mail next to the computer without it causing routing problems! It would also be super nice if my Sims stopped putting dirty dishes inside of computers.
