[S] Leaves not changing: winter looks like summer

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.49.65.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? seasons, outdoor retreat, laundry day stuff, luxury stuff, perfect patio stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not sure this is a bug others can find. I downloaded Seasons and none of the trees or physical characteristics of the sim world on the main world screen, in a lot, or outside of a lot do not change with the weather change. i.e winter still looks like summer. I have tried repairing the files, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing has worked.
What happens when the bug occurs? Every time I play.
What do you expect to see? Well, when I purchased Seasons I expected the seasons to change. I expected the leaves to change color with the seaons...not have a tree full of green leaves when my Sim is freezing.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I have attached a picture of what my world looks like. Notice the temperature and the weather at the bottom...but all the trees are still green and flowers are blooming. I'm not sure if it is my computer or what...Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! I'm just frustrated!!

    I reinstalled, repaired and reset and it is FINALLY working.

    You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

    After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

    Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

    The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

    Hello! The same thing is happening to me! I just downloaded Seasons and nothing seems to change. My sims react to the temperature change, and there are subtle changes like the exhaust on the cars but physically nothing changes. Winter still looks like summer. Do the trees and surroundings outside the lot you are in not change? I even tried planting new trees in the lot and they still don't change. I restarted the game and origin, i restarted my computer and i even repaired the files in the origin. Am i missing something? Is there anything else I can try? Thanks

    this issue was deemed as mod related. Did you remove your mods and test without ?

    I don't think I use Mods... Mods are outside downloaded content right? I bit the bullet and I uninstalled the whole game and I am currently reinstalling.

    yes, mods/cc is stuff you put in your mods folder in documents.

    OK, reinstalled and I still have the same issue. Unless I'm missing something. The temp is cold, but all the trees inside and out of the lot haven't changed. I attached a screenshot. I'm just really disappointed, especially if nothing physically changes in the game. Could it be something with my computer?

    Have you also done a folder reset as described in the post you quoted ?
