Save files with x's over them

So my old save files all have x's over them and I don't know how to fix them. I usually have a back up of them but I can't find it on my pc.

I would greatly appreciate anyone who could help me out.

They show up on the load game screen when I have newer saves, but when they are clicked on instead of loading into the save I want it loads into the newest save.

Recovering them doesn't work and neither does repairing game files through origin. I've disabled all cc as well as straight up removing it from my game folder.
