Saved games lost if I change language in Sims 4?

Hiya,

I bought sims 4 two days ago, and it's in Dutch. It's been annoying me more and more and I decided that I want to change it to English (US, preferably).

I got the game off Origin, but bought the key to the game from a different site. A sollution on here said to change the language of Origin (which was Dutch) to English, and then to re-install.

I'm guessing that I'll have to uninstall, and then reinstall the game for it to work, but will this make me lose the Sim I've been playing with for 2 days? I know it's a stupid question, but I'm just slightly hopeful that I'll not have to start over again.

Also, if I do as the aformentioned sollution says, it's a garrantee my game will reinstall in English right?

    If anybody is reading this in 2020.

    If you change your language and lost your save file then just copy the one in Documents/Electronic Arts/TheSims4/saves/ to the folder in the language you changed it, if it's from deutsche to english then from DieSims4/saves/ to TheSims4/saves/ 

    It's just that.
