Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Press the "C" button.
What happens when the bug occurs? No pictures are taken nor saved in the Screenshot folder.
What do you expect to see? Having the ability to make as many screenshots as I want that are not actually blank.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. This issue started happening after the newest update. It worked fine just before that.
I no longer seem to be able to take screenshots anymore after launching my game today. After pressing "C", no screenshots are taken but only a blank screen appears where the screenshot itself should be. Checking the Screenshot Manager resulted in the same - no visible pictures. They aren't being saved to my Screenshots folder either.
What I've tried so far:
- repairing the game
- tried to clear the catche but apparently it's empty
- restarting my game and my pc multiple times
- checking if the Screenshots folder is in the right location (Electronic Arts, Sims 4 folder) - it is
- starting a new game, no luck
This problem seems to have started after yesterday's update. I don't know why it's happening but it's quite a bummer as I love taking screenshots...
Also, I added pictures of the issue so it might be easier to see (at least print screen still works).
