Screenshots/Vids not saving

It's not much a save problem, as I've been able to save the game this whole time. It's a media creation problem. I tried most of everything to clearing Origin's cache to resetting Sims 4 to default, but most people, especially with really aggressive anti-virus programs need to take a step further in. I have Avast antivirus on my machine and for the most part, all I had to do was add both "TS4.exe" and "TS4_x64.exe" as exclusions to its Ransomware Shield, put the "Origin Games" and "Electronic Arts" file paths into exclusions, and then seeing what that does afterward.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Seasons, Get Together, Tiny Living, Parenthood, Movie Hangout
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Take a screenshot in game.
What happens when the bug occurs? A notification pops up saying a screenshot has been taking, but when I click to look at it in game it comes up blank. Nothing is saved in my screenshots folder in documents either.
What do you expect to see? A saved screenshot.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The latest patch from two days ago. (1.67.45.1020)

If you're using Avast, try adding Ts4.exe, ts4_x64.exe and Origin.exe as an exception.

  I use AVG, and I have added all of these plus the actual sims 4 folder in my documents, but it still isn't working ☹️

    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure how to respond here.
    What happens when the bug occurs? When I try to take a screenshot in game in Live Mode, I hit tab to remove the UI from the screenshot and press "C" to capture the photo. I used this method before the update and it worked fine and the images saved to my screenshots folder for the game. Since the update, when I do the same process, I get an in-game notification that says "Pictures can be viewed in screenshot manager in camera options in live mode" and the image is not showing up under Screenshot Manager in game or in my screenshot folder. I have updated and repaired my game, removed and re-installed mods, added exceptions to Avast for Origin and TS4 so that they are not being blocked, changed my game version number, deleted localthumbcashe file.
    What do you expect to see? I except to be able to use the "C" shortcut in game in Live Mode as I did before to take in-game screenshots that save to my screenshots folder under My Documents in the Sims 4 game folder. Or to view them in the in-game screenshot manager as the message tells me I should be able to do.
