Search by EA ID not working

Hi --

Tried to get to my friend's profile by going Gallery -> EA Account ID -> and then just typing "heyassbutts" (her username) in the search bar and hitting enter. The name came up in the suggestions as I typed, so I know at the very least that the user exists. I played around with all the filters on the side, though they're for content, not users, to no avail. The search just yields "No Results Found." I tried again with my own username, then typing in random words and clicking on the suggested usernames that come up, and it says "No Results" every single time. 

The search functions by item name and by hashtag both work, so I know it's not that the gallery is down. I have cleared my cache, resource.pkg, etc. and that didn't help either. I don't use mods or custom content. My computer is running Windows 10, and I've been playing the Sims 4 for ages on it without a hitch so I know I meet the requirements. What am I doing wrong?

    Unfortunately, in Gallery, you can find only works or hashtag as long as these works were tagged.
    If you'll know the name of one of her work, you'll find her by looking for this work. The creator's nickname is on the Gallery work cover. You have to click on this nickname and it will take you to her profile. There, add her to your following.
