sept 2020 sims 4 stuck on loading screen after origin update

Origin updated today, now Sims 4 is stuck on plumbob loading screen .....again.

    So, after trying all, and I mean all of the dozens of "fixes" posted in several different forums, with NO luck, found out what the issue was.

    Not sure why, but my Origin launcher updated today, and I was again faced with the plumbob loading screen forever issue.

    Trying everything else, I shut down my security.  Kaspersky VPN service.   After everything had been installed clean with NO change and NO fix.   I shut down the VPN and now it works perfectly.

    I turn on the VPN, and eternal loading screen.

    So, if you have an issue with your game stuck on the plumbob loading screen, and you're paranoid like me and run a VPN, turn it off and see if it helps.

    Admin can mark my issue as solved if you like.

    You may now return to your normal broadcast day.   Good afternoon, good evening and goodnight.
