Shadow buttons when trying to play Sims4?

I have buttons shadowed when I go in to play Sims 4 They are the Save, Save as, Achievements, and Manage Worlds.  The farthest I can go is just making new sims but cannot place them in any worlds or save them.  Please help. Thank you.
