It's a Dell laptop and Windows 10, my other laptop is an HP with Windows 10 and I have no issues with the shift click on it.
I only have the base game with no mods or cc.
I save my game file to one drive and am able to access from both computers so I know it's not some in game setting otherwise I'd be having the issue with my HP.

To be sure, nothing pop-ups up at all ? What happens if you don't have the cheat active ? Do you see the normal interactions or also nothing ?Without cheap mods on I'm able to click on the stove and the refrigerator and cook. When I click on things like the mailbox I don't get any interactions.
I brought the subject up to a coworker that is kind of knowledgeable about computers and she thinks it may be the way the mouse pad is on my new laptop. My HP which is the one I have no issues on has left and right keys separated whereas my Dell is one giant square.
