Sim doesn't show up in CAS

I didn't played the Sims4 for a while, yesterday evening I updated the game and opened it. I wanted to create a new sim so I went to CAS. But when I opened the CAS there was no sim, no settings for gender etc. in the left top corner and always when I click one of the symbols for settings, gamelog, gallery and saving the sim, nothing happens. I cant even close the game with X. I have to use the task manager for that.

I use mods but I disabled them to look if it's because of the mods. But the problem was still there.

Can anyone help me with this? I really appreciate this.

    Fix the game in Origin
    Origin/ My games library - right-click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.

If you have any mods or CC move your mods folder to the desktop
Find and delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder. Delete also all folders with the word "cache" in the name

    I don't work for EA
