@lms0226 The most likely culprit is your CC, so we can troubleshoot to see if this is the case.
Please try the following:
- Exit your game then exit Origin. Please copy the Mods folder from your 'The Sims 4' folder onto your desktop (for future reference) then delete the mods folder and the localthumbnailcache.package file in your 'The Sims 4' folder and restart the game and so that the game will re-create the folder.
- Then run a game repair [ Open Origin, click 'Game Library' then right-click Sims 4 > Repair Game ]. Make sure to let it run until it has completed all repairs (it will do the base-game first, then run through each of your expansions/packs). After that, please see if the issue has stopped.
If It fixes the situation I would recommend that you check with the Mod and CC creators to see if there are any known issues with their Mod/CC clashing with the recent update and if so do they have an updated Mod/CC that will address the changes in the game's code from the update. You can then re-add your updated Mods/CC one at a time to see if one was conflicting with the function/causing the glitch - but do not re-add the old config file from the old mods folder, as it is possible for it to have become corrupted also.

After doing some digging, I realized the issue wasn't strictly with tanning, but showering/using the tub as well and I found this thread that talks about the bug. It looks like it was resolved for some people but not others. I ended up "fixing" it by installing the MCCC mod and resetting the bathing outfit.
@AmethystBlade Very interesting, and nice detective work! So... can I confirm that even with all of your Mods/CC & cache removed and the game repair per the directions earlier in this post, you had the same issue still present as @lms0226 (a shirt still on when 'tanning nude')? Or was yours the pink bra still on in the shower, etc., as in that other thread you mentioned? Or both?
Also, you mentioned 'reseting the bathing outfit'. I have not done a 'suntan nude' command... is that considered to be an outfit? It sounds like the issue in that thread was a sim remaining in a pink bra while in the shower, which to me sounds different than the issue in this thread, but is that the issue you had? According to that other thread it sounds like that bra issue was fixed in an update. Have both of you updated your game to be sure that patch was in place in your games? I look forward to your clarifications, since it seems that the workaround you have used may be different than the solution on that thread.
- @AmethystBlade Yeah, I remember that. Once the IL patch came out, I had the same problem with one of my saves. There was a mod I had to install briefly that fixed it. Removed it after. Worked like a charm. Haven't had the problem since with any old or new worlds.
