Sim loses fame after completing acting job

My sim is in the acting career. Every time she successfully completes a day of filming she loses fame status instead of gaining it. She was a one star celeb but after doing a great job at an acting gig, she is pushed back down to being unknown. I do have some cc but the only mods I use are mc command center and ui cheats.
