@Lova0_sims That's a long time bug that's been around since City Living came out. I've never seen a fix for it. It's one of the reasons I don't play a sim in the city. I think the main problem is the festivals that appear in each neighborhood.
Try playing a sim in any one of the other worlds and it'll likely work just fine.

Yes i know it's an old problem but they did release a patch for it a while ago, i think it might be a really long time ago, where they fixed the thing with the festivals. It worked fine for me for a while and then it just stopped, but thank you for helping! <3 i hope you have a great day/morning/night- Psychotps5 years agoSeasoned Ace@Lova0_sims Well, problem is, patches can sometimes re-open old supposedly fixed bugs. It's happened before.
Just try playing a household in another town for a while, if the bug doesn't re-occur then that bug has definitely resurfaced.
Unfortunately, I haven't played a sim in the city for quite a long time because of that bug so I don't really know if it was fixed or not.
I'd test it but I'm in the middle of a full DragonAge series playthrough and don't want to upset the immersion right now. 🙂- 5 years ago
@Psychotps Ive tried to use full speed while my sims are in places like San Myshuno and it does go quite slow especially through day time, at night it does go abit faster. Im not really sure if its been fixed recently though. Its helped at little i guess with some patches. But its not brilliant.
