sims 4- trouble doing group homework activity- bug?, esc/f1-3 buttons

When my sims do homework together sometimes it freezes up all sims on the lot- especially if the kids are at different points in their homework (e.g. one is on to Extra Credit, the other is still doing homework). Everybody stops what they're doing, even adult sims that are not in the group, and stares blankly into space, just holding whatever they were using. They won't do anything or talk to anyone until you cancel out the homework activity, but time still progresses regardless. It is totally creepy.

Also on another unrelated note, has anyone said anything about their F1, F2, F3 & escape buttons randomly failing to do anything regarding to buy-build mode? Not working to get into the main menu to save&quit either. It makes you click the button. It doesn't start the game out like that but sometimes the game decides that I don't need those keys anymore I guess, and it persists to the end of my play session, works again the next time i start the game. Anyway, that's a couple little weird things that I noticed, that I wanted to notify somebody of, because they are both consistent (and irritating) problems I've run into and been able to reproduce a few times.

Also have you guys ever considered adding in a bug-report type function to the game itself? Maybe it'd bog you down in nonsense complaints, but at the same time maybe repeat occurrences of the same problem would be identified more quickly. I've thought many times of trying to contact EA about persistent bugs and stuff that I find often in the sims 4- but this is the closest thing that I've been able to find that I can easily send a message to report a game problem. Maybe you guys should just hire me to work for ya. ;-) Just kidding, I just want to play your game, and help you help me. Let's figure this out, EA / Maxis. I'll help ya.
