Sims 4 and origin freezing

So Origin opens fine at first but it freezes as soon as you click on the Sims ? Do you have other Origin games ? And if so, do they have the same issue ?

Then I'd say it's Origin related. Sims tries to open Origin first and of course freezes if Origin does so on it's own.

Did you try uninstalling Origin again an get the newest version ? There have been two updates since you started posting

Have you figured out how to fix it yet? Because I'm having the same problem, and I just bought my game this week. 

Every time I click on my Sims 4 game, my whole laptop freezes, same with Origin, and Origin help. I had my game for about two days and it started doing that, and it's been like a week and it's still doing it. I saw other people having this problem, and I don't know if they figured out how to fix it, so please help me. I wasted $60 on the game, and I don't even get to play.
