Sims 4 builds won’t save to my library

My builds on sims 4 are not saving to my library but the families I made do. I don’t have cc or mods. I’ve already tried factory resetting it, nothing changed. I’m not sure what to do next. I play on a computer that uses windows 10.

  • @tiapozy5  When you say the families you make do save, do you mean they're in your in-game library, or just that you can play with them?  The library files are also where your builds should be, of course, and they're all saved to the same folder on your computer.  So it would be strange if some files were saving to that folder and others not.

Please move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop (again, if you've done it before), and launch the game to create a new folder.  Don't add anything to this folder yet.  Start a new save, wait five minutes, build something quick, and save the build, then quit.  Open the Tray folder inside the new Sims 4 folder, and see whether there are any files with a timestamp from when you saved the build specifically, as opposed to when you left Create a Sim or initially loaded the game.  If you want, you can post a screenshot of the contents of Tray.
