Sims 4 cas not working with more than 100 mods in game

About two weeks ago, I began encountering a very weird problem. My sims 4 cas won't load if I have more than 100 mods in my game. I found out about this when I tried to create a new household in cas, but instead of loading it only showed a white screen. I tried restarting my game and my pc but it still only showed a white screen when I tried to log onto cas. I then attempted to get into cas through game mode (cas.fulleditmode), but still nothing but a white screen. I figured it must be my mods, so I took them out of the game and, what do you know, it worked! Cas will load just fine if I don't have cc but for me, that's not really an option. I then decided to weed through my cc to see if something specific was causing cas not to load. I put my cc back into my game in sets of 25, everything worked fine... until I reached 100 mods. I didn't realize this at first and thought it must be something in that stack of 25. I put everything back one at a time and then logged into cas (making the cc amount of cc in my game 99), worked fine. I have tried uninstalling sims three times, deleting localthumbcache.package file, taking out all outdated mods, nothing works. Unless I have exactly 100 or fewer mods/cc in my game cas will not load. Won't even work with 101... I'm at a loss.
