Sims 4 cc doesn't show up in game hELp

I downloaded some cc for my sims 4 game because I hadn't played it in years and needed new cc but some of it won't show up in my game. It shows up in the mod list on the start page of the game and when I search for it in build mode it also shows up but it isn't there?? I tried removing the cc and adding it again but it didn't do anything. I've seen that if the cc isn't updated it might not work but some of the cc is from the same ''pack'' and some parts of the pack show up but not others how do I fix this help please xx
