Sims 4 CC, The Type is Sims2.Package

So i just download a couple of CC for The Sims 4--i know the location for CC. But when i open my sims 4, there's no CC. I quit the game and then check the package file, then i saw that the 'type' is ...

If you have SimPe associated with package files, then this can happen. 

Shouldn't affect the actual cc showing up though. 

Is cc still turned on in your game options ?

yes, CC still turned on in my game option, i never used SimPE tho.

a couple of hours ago i just put another new CC and it still not show up

        And you are sure these aren't Sims 2 ones ?

        Mine just say package and there doesn't seem to be a program associated with yours
