@puzzlezaddict Yes, I uninstalled sims, but was finally able to get it reinstalled when I changed the download location from my external drive to my one drive.
@Yventer If the location is truly within OneDrive, for example this:
C:\Users\your username\OneDrive\etc.
then I'd highly recommend installing it elsewhere. OneDrive syncing can cause all kinds of problems, and you really don't want the next update blocked because OneDrive is getting in the way. If the default location of C:\Program Files\EA Games doesn't work for you, it's fine to create a new folder on C and install Sims 4 into that.
